Our Commitment
At eSupply Canada, we believe artificial intelligence (AI) should enhance human decision-making, improve customer service, and increase operational efficiency while respecting privacy, security, transparency, and accountability.
As an Indigenous-owned Canadian procurement and technology company, we are committed to using AI responsibly and in a manner consistent with our values, applicable laws, and the expectations of our customers, suppliers, employees, and partners.
Our approach is guided by the principle that AI should support people, not replace sound human judgment.
How We Use AI
We may use AI and other automated technologies to assist with activities such as:
- improving product search and recommendations;
- enhancing website functionality;
- drafting or summarizing business content;
- improving customer service;
- analyzing operational data;

- supporting procurement and supply chain planning;

Our use of AI is subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.
Where AI systems process personal information, we implement reasonable safeguards to protect that information.
We seek to ensure that personal information is collected, used, and disclosed only for legitimate business purposes.
Public AI Platforms
eSupply Canada does not intentionally submit confidential customer information, proprietary business information, government procurement information, or sensitive personal information into publicly available AI systems unless:
- the customer has expressly authorized such use;
- the information has been appropriately anonymized or de-identified; or
- the disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.
Employees are expected to follow internal policies governing the appropriate use of AI technologies.
Accuracy and Reliability
Although AI can improve efficiency, it is not infallible.
AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
Customers should not rely solely on AI-generated content when making purchasing, technical, financial, legal, regulatory, or procurement decisions.
Where accuracy is important, information should be independently verified.
Fairness and Accountability
We strive to use AI in a manner that is:
- fair;
- transparent;
- accountable;
- respectful of privacy;
- consistent with applicable laws;
- aligned with our commitment to ethical business practices.
Where concerns arise regarding AI-generated information or decisions, appropriate human review will be undertaken.
Security
We recognize that AI technologies introduce new cybersecurity and information management considerations.
Accordingly, we seek to:
- use reputable technology providers;
- maintain appropriate access controls;
- protect confidential business information;
- monitor evolving cybersecurity risks;
- regularly review our AI practices.

Artificial intelligence is evolving rapidly.
